Beautiful dreamer...

Good morning all!  I'm almost afraid to look outside....we've had quite the storm and lots of snow.  I am so thankful that we had a mild winter last year, with all the medical visits and hospital stays for my husband.  Although I miss him more than words can say, I am so glad his suffering is over and he doesn't have to deal with this nasty weather!  I guess that could be called a 'silver lining.'  Hopefully spring will be along soon.

In keeping with the weather, I thought perhaps a Christmas card would be in order.  Doesn't this guy look warm and cozy?  This is another one of the super images from The Best of Just Inklined's CD ROM.  It's on sale right now, so be sure to check it out if you are looking for a great bargain!

I've coloured the image with copics, again cutting it out with the 'out of the box' technique, using a Spellbinder's die.  I played around with some new paper from MME, cutting it up and inking it, then attaching it to cardstock.  The paper lace border is from my stash...ages old but does the trick.  The Christmas tree was cut out on my Silhouette and then adorned with liquid pearls, while the presents are just some stickers from my scrapbooking days.  The sentiment, the tree and the image are all attached with foam tabs, giving it lots of dimension.

As I'm readying this post for tomorrow, listening to the wind blow.....I'm thinking that glass of wine is looking pretty tempting.....might be a good idea!

Thanks for stopping by.  Stay safe and warm!
