Just Pondering...

Well, I spoke too soon.  Yesterday was beautiful, so of course I expected it to last for Father's Day....I was so wrong!  Today it is raining, but I'm not complaining, as it will keep me away from working in the garden.  Today I'll be doing lunch with my Mom and Dad, and dinner with my daughter.  Sounds like a good day!


 This is my DT card for Just Inklined, and this image, 'The Good Life' is so appropriate for my Dad.  He's at that point in life where he is often nodding off, but of course he isn't sleeping....only pondering!

I've tried to keep this simple, colouring with copics and luckily finding some papers to match.  I still do my colouring first, then look for papers.  If you look closely you will find a few pesky bugs (rub-ons) which just seemed to fit the scene.

    Lovely image - and great coloring. Really love the layout and embellishments. I also color first and search for matching papers after - oh well. Great card. Thanks so much for joining us this week at the Dutch Dare.
