April Showers

'Tis the weekend again, and it looks to be a good one, weather wise.  I need to find some energy now to try and get out in the garden.  It won't be easy this year, but I'll give it a good try!


So, in celebration of spring, with it's April showers and May flowers, this little stamp from Tina Wenke is sure to please.  Copics were my colouring medium with a bit of glitter pen for a few highlights. 

The mage is cut out with the Scalloped Ovals die, and then matted with the Floral Ovals die...both from Spellbinders.  Some pretty trims from my stash to coordinate with the image and some hand drawn leaves and  liquid pearls to complement the flower.

    This is a wonderful and pretty card! I love the cute image and the add of glitter on the flower makes it look like it been out in the rain. Wonderful!
