Birthday Celebrations at Charisma

Big celebrations underway for this week's challenge at Charisma!  Four years on the go, and lots of wonderful prizes to be won....so we hope to see lots of entries with a Birthday theme.  Be sure to check out all of the fabulous DT cards this week....both teams have submitted entries, so there is oodles of inspiration!


My goal this year, is to try to make more cards for the guys....so perhaps I won't be scrambling when I need one!  Not just for the little ones either.  This one fits the bill for a senior gent, and it is sure to bring a smile.  After colouring with copics, I've added liquid applique for the icing and glossy accents to his glasses, for a bit of added interest.  I used some shiny red card stock that I found at the dollar store for backing...which really makes the image pop!
