Our gardens here have a very short season. We plant in May (hopefully), but with hot dry summers, they are mostly done by September.....and by October we are putting them to bed again. A lot of work for such a small stretch of time. I think that is why I enjoy playing with colours....nice bright colours!
So how about a stenciled card with some of these nice bright colours. Does this not speak summer to you? No markers or pencils today, just some DI's and a stencil from Crafter's Workshop. For contrast, I've added some black rub-ons and ribbon, as well as the sentiment. The letter B is a die cut with some crackle paint...which didn't really photograph that well.
I'll be trying a bit more of this....using my stencils, finally, after doing an on-line course months ago! And of course, I have a drawer full of product to play with.
