I have to plan ahead these days, so I've made this card up well in advance of Valentine's Day. It's my GDT submission this week for Stämpelkällan, so once again I've had some fun playing with their lovely stamps.
My husband and I have been married for 40 years now, and I wanted a nice bright and sunny card. The two stamps that I've used can be found here and here. The actual card is made using a new Martha Steward punch that I received for Christmas, and I've softened the edges with a little DI. I've used copics and perfect pearls on the image, adding a ribbon bow and matching pearls to the 4 corners. Couldn't resist adding a couple of butterflies.....for a breath of spring maybe?!
This may look rather intricate, but it really was a nice easy card to make up. Thanks for visiting and hopefully you too can get your card made up in advance....rather than last minute!
A few challenges....be sure to check them out too:
