Bringing Back a Memory

I'm a little late today with my DT post for Just Inklined, but what can I say....some days are just like that.  I'm hoping for some crafting time tomorrow, as the rest of the week doesn't look promising.  I should also get out to the garden, but that won't likely happen either!

This brings back memories of my school days, when my instrument of choice was the clarinet (ha ha ha).  Although I could read music and knew all the notes, it didn't actually sound like music....I think if we'd had a dog, this scenario would have played out.  As it was, my younger brother would put his hands over his ears and say "Mommy make her stop!".  I reminded him of this yesterday, but he couldn't remember.  I'm sure I would have done much better with the drums! 

The image is called Mood Music, and I've coloured it up with copics.  I've partially cut it out using the Spellbinders Labels Twelve die, and a few layers of the same in behind.  The card design is a template from Fred She Said, using the letter B for birthday.  The ribbon is from a local craft shop and complements the image perfectly.  I've used some peel-offs for the Happy Birthday and a sweet sentiment from Whimsy Stamps....plus a wee bit of doodling.
