Good morning, and I do hope you had a wonderful Christmas with family or friends! Perhaps you had snow and your own little snowman.....fun for the little people or the young at heart. This is my final card as a December GDT member at Craft Your Passion, and I've really enjoyed working with their images.
This week the challenge is to use Red, Green and Cream. Starting with a cream card blank, I've stamped some green branches, then added layers of green and red cardstock. My card uses the image 'Bonhomme de neige lanterne' by Cocodingo, which can be found here, and it's coloured with Prismas and distress inks, with some glamour dust added for the snow. Then, only a few embellishments and the word NOEL.
Be sure to check out the what the design team has come up with this week, and try your hand at this week's challenge.

Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge - #63 Your Choice (#60 Christmas)

Ho Ho Ho Christmas Tree
Merry Christmas everyone....its only a few days now! Have you set your tree up yet...is it still standing? One year, our 13 foot tall tree fell over in the middle of the night, and I awoke to the sound of breaking glass! It fell softly, but broke quite a number of glass ornaments...I actually thought someone was breaking in, so I was actually quite relieved to find it was only the tree...
My card uses the little Christmas Cat image, from Lauretta's Digital Stamps, and is my GDT card for this week's challenge at Craft Your Passion. The challenge calls for a Christmas theme, and this little kitten with it's facial expression, did so remind me of how they do like to climb. The tree in behind was cut on my Silhouette, then decorated with unbreakable embellishments....and then, just because it's Christmas, I added a little bird sticker, which kind of symbolizes how everyone seems to get along together at this time of year.
Make sure you check out the lovely creations made by the design team here, and then for a bit more inspiration, here are some challenges where I'll be entering my card:
Crafts and Me Challenges - #19 Moody Blues
The Pink Elephant - #90 Winter Wonderland
Stamp Insanity - #39 Happy Holidays - Your Way
Sew Many Challenges - #36 Winter
Lexi's Creations - #29 Glitter and Pearls
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - #90 TREEmendous

Sew Couture
Good morning and Happy Monday to you all! I imagine you are all preparing for the holidays...baking, shopping, wrapping, and maybe sewing....
This is my second card submission as a GDT member for Craft Your Passion, and for this week's sketch challenge I've used the Couture image, which can be found here at CocoDingo. It is a quick one to colour and can be used for many occasions.
The frame was made using a Nellie die and rounded corner punch, then adding some silver brads and a number of coloured ribbons. Some flourishes are stamped on the background paper to give it some pizzaz, and some distress ink has been sponged on the edges.
Be sure to check out the challenge this week for more inspiration from the talented DT members, and the chance to win a lovely prize.
Other challenges to check out with more inspiration:
Stamp Something - December Digi Day
Craft Your Days Away - #10 Punch It Out
One Stitch at a Time - #43 Anything Goes
Stampotique Designers Challenge - #21 Punches and Die Cuts
Stamps R Us - #11 Anything Goes

I Love Winter...?!?
This month I will be one of the new GDT members at Craft Your Passion, and this is my first submission. I've used one of Lauretta's pretty images I Love Winter, which can be found here in her store, and just in case you think I've changed my views on the white stuff.....uh, uh, noooo....but it is pretty for Christmas and the kiddies do love it. The challenge this week is Anything Goes, so head on over and check it out.
My card is quite a simple design with only 1 DP, but I've coloured and cut out the image and then framed her with something I found at Monica's Creative Room. She creates some fantastic cutting files and lets us have them for free. I've used red glitter pen to colour in the spaces of the pillars. Then, a stamped sentiment, a bit of greenery and a few embellishments finishes it off.
Well thanks for visiting and I hope I've given you a few new ideas....just remember Have Fun!
A few challenges that I will enter with this card, may also offer you further inspiration:
City Crafter - #33 Blue Christmas
Crafts and Me Challenges - Dreaming of a White Christmas
Stamps R Us Challenges - #10 Holiday Cards
Sew Many Challenges - #35 Snowflakes
Digi Doodle Shop - #36 Let It Snow
Stamp Something - Christmas Color Combo Somethings
