From my little visitor...

Good morning everyone!   We've had a lovely visitor this weekend, my oldest granddaughter, Martina,  who has just turned 13.....wow, is she ever growing up!  She loves to craft with me, especially colouring the images.  Of course, she's made three cards to my one...but then she doesn't have my awful sinus headache.  I bought some allergy meds today, and hopefully they help, as Tylenol isn't doing much.  She gets to spend time with Grandpa too, which is so good for the both of them.

These are her cards, and I'm sure she'd love to read your comments if you have the time.

An image from Sassy Studio...all ready for Christmas.  Entered into the challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas  using Non-Traditional Colours.

Here's something Clean and Simple...for this week's challenge at Card Crafter's Circle.

And finally, a card for a friend of her Mom's that is expecting.  We'll enter it into this week's challenge at Do You Stack Up.  Once again, she used a Sassy Studio image and this time she cut it all out.

Martina thanks you for visiting and your lovely comments.  Have a wonderful day!

For Great - Grandma and Grandpa

I'm a little slow getting this posted, but better late than never.  Today is my parent's 60th Wedding Anniversary.....and my granddaughter wanted to make them a card!  It works out great, now that I feel confident enough just let her loose in my craft room!

I'm sure they will be just as pleased to receive this card, as my granddaughter was to make it!  All of the supplies were discovered somewhere in my stash, and the image, coloured with Prisma pencils is from Just Inklined.

A challenge for her to enter:
The Crazy Challenge - #83 Spots AND / OR Stripes

And the kiddies had fun !!

Hi there everyone!  I thought this post might bring a smile.....   All four of my little treasures came for a visit a few days ago, wanted to see their Grandpa.  After a while they all wanted to go make cards, and brave me....I just let them go to it!   They did these cards all by themselves, except for the die cut (I don't want my Big Shot broken!).  Usually I offer my two cents, but not this time....and they even cleaned up afterwards.

The youngest was quite content just to colour images, which he took home with him.  I'm not sure who the images are from, as they helped themselves....they know where my stash is now, no?

The children's challenges are done for the summer now, but I will still enter their creations to a couple of challenges....they like this too!  Anyone else out there brave enough to let the grandkids loose in your craftroom?  They had a grand old time!

Challenges:

Stamps R Us Challenges - Anything Goes

Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamp! - Anything Goes + Blog Hop

Did Someone say Cake......

This card was made by another of my little Treasures, this time Martina, who is 11. She chose to make a card for a very special wedding, and this cake looked sooooo delicious.

The image she used is from Delicious Doodles, and was one of the free digis being given away each day this week. They are having their first ever challenge, and this is Martina's first ever entry! Be sure to check them out.

In addition, this card is also being entered into the Little Hands Do Crafts Challenge. For both of these entries the project could be ANYTHING.
