A grumpy golfer....

I'm on vacation in Florida at present, where I'm sure the golf courses are in full swing.  Not for me, however, I'm here for the beach and the shopping.  Of course the nice sunny weather helps too.

Today's card uses the Old Golfer image from QKR Stampede.  I have coloured with markers, and once again used the 'out of the box' technique for cutting it out.  A Spellbinder's die, some papers from my stash, some paper candi, and then a sentiment to finish it off.  Sure to bring a smile....I hope!

Dreaming of spring...

Hi there.  Hope you are all enjoying a lovely day with lots of sunshine!  That's what's happening here, and I'm loving it.  The snow is melted and the forecast looks great....hopefully winter is saying goodbye!

Today's card uses a fun image from QKR Stampede.  I'm thinking that he's sleeping through winter and dreaming of spring, something I'd really go for!  The little frogs are stickers, and they want to wake him up.

I've used markers to colour the image and a Spellbinder's die to cut it out.  A bit of doodling, some scrap DP and a die cut sentiment add the finishing touches.

Keep on smiling and thinking spring thoughts.....now I'm going out for a walk!

I Spy...with my little eye...

Today, I have a card using a fun image from QKR Stampede, which goes right along with their challenge for this week.  I think we all know someone who likes to chase a little white ball around.  It's not for me, however.  If by some fluke I could hit the ball any distance, with my eyes... I would never find it again.

So again, I've coloured the image with copics...cutting it out with a Spellbinders die.  The Happy Birthday is cut using the Birthday Sentimentables die from Whimsy Stamps.

Minimal embellishments to finish it off, as the the flowers and ribbons just didn't quite fit the masculine theme.  lol

Hope life is treating you kindly, and your days are full of warm sunshine!  We are in for some rain for a bit, but hopefully the sunshine will be back soon.

Bubbles Anyone?

What a beautiful day we had today.  The best one so far this year.  We still needed a sweater, but actually were able to enjoy a coffee outside in the sunshine.  It's probably just a teaser, but hopefully soon....

Today's card uses an image from QKR Stampede, titled Bubbles, and it's sure to bring a smile as it brings back memories of younger days.  Of course I'm not meaning being chased by a bear, but rather, playing with bubbles.

I've made a frame for this one, using the left over piece of paper from a die cut, which would be the negative.   As you can see, I've used the 'out of the box' technique again, for cutting out the image after colouring with copics.  The sentiment is from Stampendous, and was ideal for this card.  Nice and simple design.
