Just Inklined Blog Hop - Show Your Punches

Welcome to the monthly blog hop at Just Inklined!    If you've come here from Toni's blog, then you're right on track..... enjoying a few relaxing moments and all the of the Design Team's amazing creations.  If you've arrived here by an alternate route, then scoot back over to the beginning at Lydia's blog....you really don't want to miss anything!

The theme this month is to use at least 2 punches.  I've used an MS punch for the black ironwork effect, and another for the bit of greenery.  In addition, there are a couple of punched flowers and I've used a corner punch to round the edges of the card.

Now for the image, Big Archie Butterthwaite......isn't it adorable?  I coloured him up with Prismas, adding some glossy accents to his cane and suspender clips.  Having four brothers, I'm always on the lookout for an image such as this....you can find more of them here, as well as the more traditional type...something for everyone!

To go along with the male theme, I've used some new paper I found from Cosmo Cricket.  I've used my Nestie dies to cut around the image and the sentiment, and some distress ink to add a little finish to the edges.  The sentiment is a freebie I found a while back at Sentimental Sundays, and works perfectly for my intent.

And now, for a little bit of news.  I am sooooo excited to announce that I will now be a regular at Just Inklined.....a new member of their design team!  WOW....it doesn't get better than that!

Now, on to your next stop at Karen's blog, where you are sure to find another wonderful creation.   So hop along and enjoy, and may you be inspired to create!  Thanks for visiting and have a great day.
