DZ Doodles - Design Team Call


Thank you so much for visiting, and today I'd like to show you my card for the DT call over at DZ Doodles.  The image is a freebie, available for the call, which is ongoing until November 21st.  Their images are a real pleasure to work with, and I've coloured this one up with my Prismas, then cut it out with my Nestie's die.  Some distress ink has been added to the edges, as well as a fine line of gold metalic pen.

For the layout, I've used the sketch from Crafts 4 Eternity.  As their challenge this week is called Doodle-Tastic, you will notice I have added some doodles as a border for the image.

The DP is from Cosmo Cricket's Wanted line, and I have added a leafy stamp to enhance the fall theme.  The rust coloured card stock has been embossed with dots and then inked with dark green.  I've used a MS punch to create the border for the black cardstock panel....I like to think it looks like an iron fence.  A couple of oak leaves and a bit of thread complete the effect, as there are no sparkle or gems....just a down to earth fall country scene, perfect for Thanksgiving.
