Hi again....this time it's one of my cards! I made it to my craftroom for a bit and decided to work on an image I'd printed off a while back....but then I couldn't remember whose design it was! Definitely a blond moment. I had to go all through my computer files....
...and I finally found it! This pretty image is from DZ Doodles and it is called Aubielle Blossom. The blossoms are coloured with Copics, while for the leaves I've used Promarkers. I've used the Labels 20 Nestie die, adding a script stamp to the larger layer and silver ink to all of the edges.
The background layer is simply cardstock. The bottom section has been embossed using one of my brass stencils that I purchased ages ago, while the top is created with my Score-Pal. I wanted a softer look, so I stamped a bit of leaf pattern using white ink and then smudging around the edges. Some glitter pen has also been added to enhance the embossing.
No sentiment for now, but I think this card could be used for many occasions. Thanks for visiting and have yourself a wonderful weekend....it's nearly here.

ReplyDeleteHi Joyce! Your all occasion card is beautiful! I love the background paper you chose and the dry embossing of it is wonderful. Love the die cut centers with the different backgrounds. The flower stamped image in the center and the way you colorized it are perfect. The added "bling" is the perfect embellishment so as not to take away from the simple design of the card. Thanks for joining us at Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge. <3 Candy
