Here's hoping that winter will soon be gone, and we can enjoy some of the pleasures of spring. Otherwise, we'll be missing that season altogether. I'd love to be outside readying the gardens, but that's not happening! Still wearing my winter coat. So here I have a card to remind us of warmer days.
This delightful image is one from Elizabeth Bell, titled Merry Weather....isn't she darling? I've coloured her with copics, cutting and matting with the Spellbinders die - Scalloped Labels One. As you can see, I have added some nice lush grass (I think I remember what that looks like..lol), and some DI to the edging.
The only embellishments are peel-offs...for the borders and the sentiment. The card blank is one I have had for ages, already embossed, and more DI is sponged to make it it show.
Thank you all for stopping by, and here's hoping you have a warm sunny day.

Hearts with Elizabeth Bell
I'll have to get busy soon, as I am leaving for a bit of a break from winter in a few days, but first a card for the new challenge at Elizabeth Bell's. This month they are looking for Hearts, and I've coloured up this pretty image...Little Miss Mouse, with my copics. I won this image in their last challenge and I've done it up for a GDT card this month. Loving the bright colours...such a change from the view outside my window. Come on spring!!!!!

Peace on Earth
Another Christmas card, ready to post! A nice simple design, with just a pretty image and and bit of ribbon. The fancy die cut edging adds a decorative touch and provides great contrast to the red.
Supplies used:
Elizabeth Bell rubber stamp - done with watercolours
Spellbinders die - Labels Eighteen
Cheery Lynn die - City Girl Edger
Ribbon from Crafty Ribbons
I managed to get some Christmas shopping done yesterday, and today I'm going to get my head around some accounting. Our weather is not too bad, still holding around the freezing mark. I can handle that. Hope all is well where ever you may be. Stay warm and snuggle up!

Soon It'll Be Christmas
Brrrr, winter is definitely here....hope you are keeping warm. Won't be long now until I'm in my hibernation mode, whereby I venture outside only when necessary.
So, in tune with the weather, my card uses some cool colours. This is an Elizabeth Bell stamp done with watercolours, and I've added some frantage embossing for some added sparkle, and a Spellbinders die to cut it out. Keeping it relatively simple, so that it goes in the post, with just a ribbon and a bit of greenery for embellishment.
It's hard to imagine that Christmas is just over a month away. I guess it is time to get shopping or at least put my thinking cap on. I'm with some of my grandchildren this weekend, perhaps I can get some ideas. Hmmm
Thanks for stopping by, and I'm hoping you have a wonderful weekend.

Smile....spring is on it's way!
Good morning all...and maybe it is too! It looks like the weather is finally going to break. The forecast is actually showing temperatures above freezing. Won't that be an awesome change!
Today we also have a new challenge for you at Paper Crafting Journey, and it's everyone's favourite ANYTHING GOES. Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT is sharing, and hopefully they will inspire you to get your crafting hat on too!
