Emboss It! Just Inklined Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!  It's time again for the monthly Blog Hop at Just Inklined!  This month I'm so pleased to be your hostess, which means that I also get to choose the theme, Embossing.  So take a break, sit back and relax, and enjoy what the team has put together for you.


As I've been trying to nudge Spring along lately, I thought I would go with this little cutie, Daisy and Watson.  So, the grass isn't bright green yet, and Daisy has her wellies on, but it's just the sort of day I'm looking forward to!   They are coloured with Tombow watercolour markers, with a bit of glossy accents for her glasses.

I've gone with two types of embossing....first, some dry embossing for the corner butterflies, adding some blue DI for definition.  This is a Nellie Snellen stencil that I purchased ages ago, then forgot I had! (not me, you say! lol)    Second, there's some heat embossing on the flowers and leaves using silver embossing powder and an embossing pen.  These flowers are pre-coloured images from FSS that you simply print and cut.

    Joyce, this is a wonderful theme for the Blog Hop. Love your card and the embossing is awesone. I love everything about your card but especiallyy love the embossed flowers. :)
