Good morning! Can you believe it's already Thursday again? This summer is just flying by, so hang onto your hats and sunglasses, and check out this week's challenge at
Charisma Cardz. This week we are looking for some stitching on your cards, and it can be either real or faux.
Today's card uses a sweet little image from CC Designs, called
Sweet Pixie Birgitta...such a delight to colour. I played with my copics again, adding some stickles for the wings, and as you can see I cut her out on the one side only....leaving a white square to tuck into some punched corners. This leaves a nice space for a sentiment.
The main sentiment at the top of the card is a stamp from Local King rubber, part of the Asian Blooms set, and the papers are from MME. Lots of layers today, and colours that make me think of summer.
I've gone with faux stitching, both plain and zig-zag, and I've definitely kept the embellishments to a minimum, with only a ribbon and a tiny heart. I think I'll let the image steal the show!
Once again we have some very generous sponsors and some wonderful prizes:
Prize 1
Prize 2
(with a $10 voucher)
Thanks once again for visiting, and let's hope you can find a little bit of crafty time so that you can join in with us this week. Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has been up to for more inspiration!
