Hi there. This will be my last DT card for Paper Crafting Journey, as their final challenge is underway right now. We hope you can find the chance to make a card and enter....one last time.
I tried something different this time. I've used a digital paper for the card, and I've resized a part of it and used it for paper piecing the girl's dress. I haven't done much playing with digital papers, or paper piecing, for that matter, but I will have to give this one a try again.
Supplies used:
Crafty Sentiments image - Friendship
Bearly Mine digital paper
Spellbinders dies - Labels Eight and Decorative Labels Eight
Memory Box dies - Precious Hearts
Bye for now....enjoy your weekend!

Oh, how does your garden grow...
Good morning everyone! Are you ready for the new challenge at Paper Crafting Journey? A nice easy one this time, and perfect for the season. This time the theme is Flower Power. So let's see those projects with some pretty flowers!
Our wonderful sponsor is Crafty Sentiments, and they've provided this sweet image titled Lady Bird and Butterfly. I had lots of fun colouring her up with my copics and some pencil, with a bit of sparkle added here and there. Once again, I've used a Spellbinders die for cutting and matting, but I've fancy cut just a wee bit of her hair.
Some polka dots today, for both paper and ribbon, and a simple stamped sentiment. The added flower and leaf are a cut and print from Fred She Said, and I've added some shimmer with Perfect Pearls powder. The flower center is a combination of yellow stickles and gold glass beads.
Now that summer is finally here, with luck we'll be enjoying lovely flowers in the garden. But for those days for when flowers don't bloom, how about making a card to brighten someone's day.

Photo Inspiration
Only a week to go until spring......I sure hope Mother Nature is listening! Today, however, we have a new challenge at Paper Crafting Journey, and this time it is a Photo Inspiration with spring in mind. We look forward to seeing your interpretations, and be sure to check out what the rest of the DT have come up with.
Today I've made a centre step card using a lovely image from Crafty Sentiments, titled Primrose-Garden Flowers, and as you can see, I was inspired by the polka dots from the following photo.
Our sponsor this week is Crafty Sentiments, and they are offering the winner 3 Digital images of their choice! We really hope you can join in this week for a chance at this lovely prize.
Thanks so much for visiting and here's hoping you have a wonderful day.

Keep on Smiling
Good morning everyone! I'm sure not everyone was happy, but I was quite pleased with the rain we had yesterday. It meant I didn't have to drag the hose down to my garden, and I could enjoy a day of crafting. Today I'll maybe go take a peek, but the weeds can wait another day!
Today's card is for my daughter, who underwent some surgery last week on her shoulder. Nice and summery, with a little something inside to perk her up...may go for some ice cream? This image was a freebie last week from Crafty Sentiments, and will soon be available for purchase. I used copics and coloured pencils, teaming it up with some delicious paper from MME.
Finally remembered I had some corner punches buried away, and these flowers too were hiding...just waiting for a rainy day I guess!
So keep on smiling, it makes every day sunny....and thanks for visiting.
Some challenges for my card...be sure to check them out too!

An Easter Challenge
Good morning everyone. I just realized that I hadn't done my post for today's challenge at Charisma Cardz, so I am a wee bit late and I'll make this a quick one. Today we are looking for Easter projects, and I made a bookmark for my granddaughter.
Here I have used an image from Crafty Sentiments, called Toby in bag. It was a freebie image given out last year, and I like how I was able to use so many bright spring colours. It's coloured with copics, cut out with a Nestie die and then edged with stickles. I've used a MS punch for the lace edge, and minimal embellishments.....as they would not likely stand up to much use.
We do hope to see your entry this week, and be sure to check out the rest of my teamies' projects for some great inspiration!
Now for some challenges....and even more great ideas.
